The sun has produced energy for billions of years and is the ultimate source for all of the energy sources and fuels that we use today. People have used the sun’s rays (solar radiation) for thousands of years for warmth and to dry meat, fruit, and grains. Over time, people developed technologies to collect solar energy for heat and to convert it into electricity.
Solar energy systems/power plants do not produce air pollution, water pollution, or greenhouse gases. Using solar energy can have a positive, indirect effect on the environment when solar energy replaces or reduces the use of other energy sources that have larger effects on the environment.
Radiant energy from the sun has powered life on earth for many millions of years and it is more and more common to see solar farms all over the world.
Euafra Energy has a long history with solar projects and covers the entire value chain in a solar project: from project development and financing to construction and commercialisation and/or settlements of PPAs´s with the most important local or national actors.
To ensure the efficiency and quality of each project Euafra Energy monitors the whole project from the start to the finish, providing a risk-free turn-key solution to our clients.
We analyse the suitability of each suggested location of the future solar power farm, including carrying out the corresponding feasibility studies of the site and to make sure that it is actually possible to contact to a grid connection point.
When the best location is chosen, Euafra Energy takes care of every part of the project, from dealing with the rent, lease or purchase of the land, most contracts are in-between 20 and 30 years to the sales of the produced energy and maintenance of the farm.
All contractual work is secured by a smooth corporation between our in-house lawyers and trusted local lawyers with insight in the local planning, and we take full responsibility for obtaining all permits, licenses and authorisations required to develop and operate every solar farm we develop.
All the technical planning, mechanical and electrical designs, engineering and farm layout is prepared by our engineers and designers.
All solar farms need financing. Financing very often depends on well prepared financial models, trustworthy business plans, analysis of market prices, possibilities for PPA´s and yield forecasts. We support our customers in every aspect of this aspect in the project – here you can rely on, that our long experience in the market will ensure that your project from the beginning is fully bankable and allow to ensure financing from scratch – no recourse financing necessary.
Operation and maintenance of your solar project
When the farm is “up and running” it is of uttermost importance for the yield of the farm that the it is optimized and subsequently is being maintained in the best possible way. This ensures the highest possible performance throughout the project’s entire lifetime. Euafra Energy operates the farms with on site and remote monitoring which ensures us a prompt response if any failure is registered, which again secures a stable and high performance so the expectations of yield are being met.
